Our parade of new faculty and staff continues!
Jim Morgan, Middle School Math
Jim Morgan is thrilled to join the TNCS family. After graduating Summa cum Laude from the University of Richmond in 2006, he fulfilled a lifelong dream to become a teacher. He began teaching 3rd grade at nearby Linwood Holton Elementary School, and has spent the last 8 years teaching 2nd and 4th grades at St. Christopher’s School.
Mr. Morgan first discovered a passion for working with students with learning differences while working as a counselor at YMCA’s Camp Thunderbird. Having had a numbers of careers in his life, Mr. Morgan brings a vast background of experiences that enhance the learning environment of his classroom. He has been seen on Richmond’s professional and community stages as an actor for over 20 years. Other hobbies include fitness/yoga, spiritual studies, and the occasional video game. He lives in the Forest Hill area with spouse and their dog, Maggie.
