Posted by TNCS on Sep 7, 2018

  • Friday, September 14

    • Parents Association Meeting, 8am, Greenwood Commons
    • Visitor Management System Scanning for Parents, Before and After the PA Meeting
    • 9th Grade Late Night, after school until 11pm

Tech Tip of the Week

Both iPad and laptop screens should be cleaned with a lint free cloth. Never use liquid to clean these surfaces. Water + technology = disaster.  Technology should always be powered down before any cleaning! If you have tougher spots that won’t come off with just a cloth, try wiping the surface with a slightly damp cloth on the spots followed by a polish with the lint free cloth. To get a slightly damp cloth dab a paper towel onto another wet paper towel. No liquid should wring out of the cloth used to clean the tough spots on a screen.

9th Grade Late Night

Our second annual Ninth Grade Late Night is next week on Friday, September 14th after school until 11pm. Ninth Grade Late Night is a time for students to celebrate the start of their high school years and to bond with new and familiar classmates. We will begin the event by cheering on our Saber athletes at the home volleyball and soccer games. After supporting our student athletes, we’ll gather for a pizza dinner and then start the festivities. Please encourage your ninth grade student to participate! The success of the event depends on the participation of the ninth grade class. We look forward to celebrating the start of the year with your student! Click here for more details. Permission is needed by September 14 via email to Mrs. Beene.

9th– 12th Grade Learning Opportunity

Registration is now open for Richmond Performing Arts Alliance’s Fall Video Production course in the Genworth BrightLights Education Center! During the semester, students learn all aspects of video production from setting up single and multi-camera productions to videography, editing and content distribution. They also have the opportunity to put their skills to use by serving as the crew for live-streamed and recorded events. Tuition for this course is only $150 for students attending private school or home school. Students enrolled in this class can earn .5 independent study credit for the semester class. Please share this with any students you think may be interested. Click here to learn more and register.
