Tech Tip of the Week

iPads running iOS 12 have keyboards with multiple characters on the keys. If you employ a flick downward on a key, you can activate the upper character. In picture shown, flicking down (touch the key then pull downwards) on the y key would type a 6.

UPPER SCHOOL NEWS

Ninth Grade Late Night

Ninth Grade Late Night is on Friday, October 4th after school until 11pm. Ninth Grade Late Night is a time for students to celebrate the start of their high school years and to bond with new and familiar classmates. We will begin the event by cheering on our Saber athletes at the home volleyball game. After supporting our student athletes, we’ll gather for a pizza dinner and then start the festivities. Each ninth grade student will play on a team, competing against other ninth graders in a series of hysterical “Minute to Win It” games. After an awards ceremony, we’ll settle down, enjoy some popcorn, and watch a movie. Please encourage your ninth grade student to participate! The success of the event depends on the participation of the ninth grade class. We look forward to celebrating the start of the year with your student! Click here for full details. Please email Mrs. Beene by Wednesday, October 2 stating whether your student has permission to attend.

College Representatives

College representatives will be visiting TNCS in the next few weeks. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are encouraged to attend the information sessions held during Extra Help.
