ALL-SCHOOL NEWS
First Quarter Grades Posted
The first quarter ended this past Monday. Teachers of grades 8-12 have updated grades on Portals. These are the first quarter grades. For academic classes in grades 5, 6, and 7, and several middle school math courses, teachers have uploaded individual skill progress reports. To get these reports, as well as updated class memos for grades 8-12, parents need to log into their Portals accounts and click on the Reports tab. Select Progress Reports and then click on each class to see the report for that particular class.

Giving Day
Thanks to the generosity of our students and teachers, we were able to raise over $830 for hurricane relief! Our community enjoyed the opportunity to dress down and help with a worthy cause on our first ever Giving Day. Go Sabers! Added to the $400 that the National Honor Society raised last month with its bake sale and cookout, the TNCS student/teacher community is sending $1,230 to One America Appeal, a non-partisan fundraising effort organized by our five living former Presidents. Proceeds will be used to help the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
Guest Speaker
Mrs. Smith’s LF class welcomed Vietnam Veteran Sargeant Curtis Hofstetter to class. Pictured here with former Riverside students (where Sgt. Hofstetter works) Justin, Adam, Dashiell, and Peter.
