ALL-SCHOOL NEWS

Saber Spotlight: Joni Hopkins

With her interest in backstage production, 9th grader Joni Hopkins was able to help the Henrico Teen Theatre Company over the summer with their production of “The Jungle Book” at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. She was the Backstage Manager for the production and had a great time working with the performers. Way to go Joni!

Does your student do amazing things outside of school? We want to know about it! Saber Spotlight is a way to recognize students for the ways they excel and contribute to the community outside of school. Please let your Division Director know of your child’s successes, or email them to info@tncs.org.

This is the last week to shop the Stella & Dot show. Make your purchases now and support TNCS through October 18! Shop online here: stelladot.com/ts/4hiok

Tech Tip of the Week

The command key is essential to quick Apple short cuts. Hold the command key down and press different letters to do a variety of functions; copying, pasting, printing, quitting, etc. Any programs drop down menus will show the command symbol to reveal the short cuts available.

Installing Test Mode

8th – 12th Grade students should have the Test Mode profile installed on their laptop. If they have not they need to make an appointment to see Mrs. DelMonte as soon as possible. Test Mode is a user profile that provides a ‘clean’ environment for testing. Teachers will have the password for this profile, students will not have this password.
