Car Show & Festival
On April 18, from 10am-2pm, the senior class is hosting a Car Show and Festival to raise money to build a playground at Faith Life Learning Center as our senior service project. The Car Show will take place on The New Community School’s campus. Admission is free and parking is across the street at Scottish Rite Temple. Optional donation is appreciated, and if you would like to enter a car or have any questions please email tncscarsforkids@gmail.com. The Senior class hopes that you will join us for a wonderful day!
Volunteers needed!
The Parents Association’s annual fundraiser is the READ Art Show & Sale. This year’s 12th annual event will be March 27-28 and features over 80 regional artists showcasing their work in support of our students. Last year the event raised over $108,000! There is a ticketed opening reception on Friday evening, this year featuring The Susan Greenbaum Duo, and open free on Saturday. Look for your invitation in the mail in the next few days! This is the PA’s largest effort and as many parents as possible are needed to pull it off. Click here to view a Sign Up Genius for volunteer needs the week of the event, as well as items to donate. If you have any questions about the READ Art Show & Sale, or about donating or volunteering, please contact April Eddleton.

Tech Tip of the Week
Do you ever wish you could wave a wand and make all the technology in your child’s life disappear? While this isn’t realistic in today’s world, you can hedge the amount of time on devices by employing the parental controls built into most laptops, cell phones, routers, etc. Common Sense Media has a handy guide to parental controls.
