ALL-SCHOOL NEWS  

Parents Association and READ Meetings

The Parents Association scheduled for Monday, January 8 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be Monday, February 5. All parents are welcome and invited to attend. The READ Art Show & Sale meeting will still take place on Wednesday, January 10 at 4pm in Westbrook House.

UPPER SCHOOL NEWS

The TNCS Upper School will go to Massanutten Ski Resort for our annual Ski Day on Friday, January 19. This annual trip is a lot of fun and will be well supervised by TNCS faculty. We will continue to offer tubing as well. This is a great alternative to skiing/snowboarding, especially for those who don’t know how to ski. The tubing area will be well supervised by teachers. This trip is optional; however, if your child does not attend the trip, they should stay home that day. There will be no alternative activities on campus. The permission slip contains more information and must be returned to school on or before Wednesday, January 10th. Alternately, the permission slip can be filled out electronically and emailed to jcarmichael@tncs.org. (When you click the link, download the file, fill it out, save it, email as an attachment).

LUNCHES

Pizza Mondays

Mondays are pizza days for lunch at TNCS, to benefit the athletic department. Slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza from Domino’s are available. Students place their order on sheets posted on campus. Pizza is $1.50/slice. Drinks are also available for $1.00. Both are billed to the student’s account. Cash is not accepted.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help serve pizza on Mondays from 11:45am – 1:15. Click here to sign up to help!

Jason’s Deli Lunch Options Tuesday – Thursday

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays students are able to purchase in advance lunches from Jason’s Deli. Orders are submitted online by noon the day before delivery. Click here for the order form, which can also be found via a link at the top of the school’s homepage.
