Posted by TNCS on Mar 18, 2017

The New Community School has placed 2nd overall in the national nonprofit Learning Ally’s Great Reading Games reading contest!

138 TNCS students competed against 17,317 students in more than 1,200 schools across the country to achieve this recognition. The participating students built positive reading habits, won prizes and became voracious readers in the process. Additionally, 6th grader Jack Feldpausch placed 8th in the nation in the individual competition portion. Congratulations to ALL our Sabers for their great reading achievement!

WRIC Channel 8 was on campus for the celebration – see their segment here!
