Meet Katherine Loria, Language Fundamentals

Katherine Loria is a Northern Virginia native, who moved to Richmond in March after getting married. Before moving, she taught at The McLean School in Potomac, Maryland for five years. During her time there, she developed a passion for using Orton-Gillingham methodology to teach struggling readers. Katherine earned her BA in Elementary and Special Education from Providence College and her M.Ed in Special Education from the University of Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, calligraphy and brush lettering, and playing with her black “sheprador” puppy.
