New Faculty Spotlight: Terri Birkelien

Join us in welcoming Terri Birkelien as a new Middle School LF teacher!

Terri graduated from the University of Rhode Island and also earned an M.B.A. from George Washington University. After working several years in the business world, she opted to direct her energy to working with young people. She has worked the past 10 years at Riverside School. She is an Orton Gillingham Practitioner working at the Certified Level.

Terri lives in Midlothian with her patient husband and one spoiled little dog. She has one daughter, Natalie, who is a Senior at JMU. Terri loves to read books and go to the movies in her spare time.
