Professional Institute

Teachers, school administrators and parents who want to learn more about dyslexia are encouraged to participate in our Summer Professional Institute. This series of classes gives an in-depth look at pertinent topics on dyslexia education. Courses have included special reviews on building writing competence, hands-on workshops for teaching and encouraging the dyslexic student, as well as general courses introducing you to the topic.

Several scholarships are available to parents and teachers as a result of a gift from the Learning Disabilities Council. Please contact the school for details.

To find out more, call us at 804.266.2494 ext. 18, send us an e-mail, or download the 2008 Summer Professional Institute Brochure by clicking here.
